My Inner Blood Type is Type B
Your Inner Blood Type is Type B You follow your own rules in life, even if you change the rules every day. Sure, you tend to be off the wall and unpredictable, but that’s what makes you lovable. And even though you’re a wild child, you have the tools to be a great success. You are able to concentrate intently […]
No baby hamsters.
We didn’t see Mrs. Hamster for a couple days (she was hiding in her can)… and then when she came out yesterday to drink water, we decided to check things out, and gently dumped the can… only to find no babies. I still don’t know for sure how many there *were*.
6 week appointment today
I got a clean bill of health … PLUS, in the last four weeks, I’ve lost ELEVEN POUNDS! Woohoo!!
Babies!
We have baby hamsters! I’m not sure yet how many, as she is up in a coffee can with them.
A few quiz thingies
You scored as Maximus. After his family was murdered by the evil emperor Commodus, the great Roman general Maximus went into hiding to avoid Commodus’s assassins. He became a gladiator, hoping to dominate the colosseum in order to one day get the chance of killing Commodus. Maximus is valiant, courageous, and dedicated. He wants nothing more than the chance to […]
Improper Phrase Pet Peeves
MISUSED PHRASE: THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING CORRECT PHRASE: The proof of the pudding is in the eating. The misused version is utter nonsense, while the original, proper form makes sense. You will know if the pudding is good when you eat it, and equally one will know if the item/situation is proper when one is using/involved in it. […]
Moses basket
Robby got me a Moses basket for John Luke (see photo below)… I officially LOVE IT! Tonight he fell asleep on my lap; I laid him in the basket where he continued sleeping; and when I headed for bed, I picked up the whole basket, carried it to my room, and set it in the bassinet, with nary a peep […]

Odd dream this morning
I dreamed I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car, waiting for Robby to transact some business. We were by a pond/lake. The car started moving, and I didn’t think anything of it, figuring someone had gotten in and started driving. When the front left corner of the car was in the water, I looked at the driver’s […]
In support of CHOICE:
My letter to Target, Wal-Mart, and Winn-Dixie: I recently received a letter from Planned Parenthood, asking me to write to you regarding your policy that allows your pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions if they so choose. PP wanted me to tell you it’s “outrageous” and “discrimination.” I am writing, but rather than writing a letter of objection, I am […]
Growing baby!
I weighed John Luke (via the weigh-me-and-add-him method) and he’s about 12 pounds now!!
