Nice weekend so far!
We were able to spend time with one family yesterday and another today who are our good friends. It is always nice to be able to fellowship with friends who are also part of the body of Christ!
Meanwhile, back on his home planet, Forno, in the town of Ziti, Biff's best friend Neal Parmesan sat in his comfortable recliner, watching the news. His phone began to vibrate, the first notes of the popular song "Lasagna" sounding tinnily through the room. Grabbing the device, he wiped the screen [...]
Read MoreI asked my kids for words... they gave me the following: word, chivalrous, peanut butter, Yoshi, pony So what follows is what I came up with from those words. The light brown pony, who was just about the same color as peanut butter, stood chewing calmly by the fence as [...]

Friday, we had our friends over. Saturday morning, I went yard saling with my mom-in-law and we got some great deals! Then we went to Chattanooga in the afternoon and got to spend some time with friends there. This afternoon I was able to talk to a friend whom I haven’t talked to in years (literally), and this evening, I […]
I was just wondering… I mean, I’m not going to stop my occasional ramblings here if nobody reads… but I just wondered.
During a time of loss, it is difficult not to put a stranglehold on what is still there. Decluttering is that much more difficult. I have a book on grief… but every part is talking about losing someone that one has had time to get to know. Someone they have seen alive and fellowshipped with alive – that they have […]
I took Bob & JL out to eat Thursday. They only brought us two glasses of water, so I set mine between me & JL, figuring we would share. He took a sip and then, as bored children will do, he picked up the pepper. And shook some into the water! I took it away from him and set it […]
This is what David was buried in. The lady who knitted it had a photo she emailed to me, and I am very thankful to her for it! The very beautiful story that goes with it (as told by the lady who knitted it) is as follows: “The cream pouch was the smallest of the ones I have made because […]
Blessed be the Name of the Lord! David Mathew was born at 12:46pm today. “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” 2 Samuel 12:23
At Wedesday’s doctor appointment, my doctor was unable to find a heartbeat. He sent me next door to the hospital for an ultrasound and they were also unable to find a heartbeat and, though I was at 15 weeks, baby measured 14 weeks.
I hope you had a wonderful day. We visited with friends this morning and then relaxed this afternoon. Yesterday was my husband’s 41st birthday, and we celebrated with his parents. It was very nice. Altogether it’s been a nice weekend.
I didn’t win. That doesn’t surprise me, though. The winner had *34* referrals. I was way behind with a grand total of *1*. No big.
I can win an ebay gift certificate if enough people will follow this link and register… http://www.livetv.ws/register/150 I think you don’t have to *do* anything with it, and it’s FREE… It’s a ‘referral’ thing…
some, anyway. I’m not up to par yet, but I’m better. A slight “bonus” – I’m at 214.8 (weight) … down from 222… since being sick. Definitely NOT the best way to lose weight (especially when pregnant) but, I may as well enjoy it anyway!
I spent much of yesterday sneezing, but was hoping it was just allergies. Well, apparently, no such luck. Things got progressively worse last night and my whole head feels like it would feel better if it could just explode. Wahh, whine, sniffle.
I went to see about getting stuff for wraps for dinner … I was looking for chicken. The store to which I went had boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the case. Tyson brand were 2.69/lb. Next to them in the case were some other packages, for $1.69/lb. I looked back and forth, trying to figure out why the difference. Looking […]
My older two and I decluttered laundry and took it to the laundromat to get it all done at once… I had slacked a bit and we got WAY behind. It took 12 washers (including three triple-load and five double-load washers) and five huge dryers to get it all done. The pros of this: ALL the laundry (except what we’re […]
All went well.. baby’s heartbeat is 160. I need to keep an eye on my sugar intake, as it was a bit high in the bloodwork last week.
If ever you have thought, “CPS should be called on that family!” … read this before you pick up the phone. CPS is NOT all it’s cracked up to be, by a long shot! http://www.jbs.org/node/4632
Baby measured 11 weeks, and heartbeat was 171 🙂
