Dream:

I dreamed I was riding in a school bus that my friend Jean was driving, and another school bus drove up beside and in one of the front seats was a girl I went to school with in 6th – 7th grades, named Dena Sedlock (I’m sure that isn’t her last name anymore)… we didn’t get along that well in […]

About the previous:

A comment said, That’s just CRAZY! 😉 Not that I’m knocking a well-placed hug at the appropriate moment, but to love ALL hugs?!?!?! LOL!!!! Like I told the commenter in an email – I cannot think of one hug in my entire life that I disliked. There were a couple awkward ones (due to the hug-ee being a non-huggy type) […]

Dream…

I dreamed we were helping to take care of two little girls, Christian and Tyler, and their little sister Liz (or Sandy… both names were used)… and we ended up adopting them, and still had this one coming along in December! Instant large family LOL! It was neat though.

I almost forgot to post

…about our trip to Mississippi! On Wednesday, March 23, we drove down to Mobile, AL, where I got to meet one of my friends (whom I “met” online a few years ago and this is the first time we got to meet in person)! It was a very nice visit. We left there and went to a hotel – only […]

Fun day today

This morning we took the two younger boys (ages 8 and 5) to an easter-egg hunt sponsored by our friend’s church down in Oneonta. It was a lot of fun! They had SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND plastic eggs in the football field of a nearby high school, and since it had been sprinkling, there were not as many people out there as […]

Weird dream this morning

I had a weird dream this morning; we were in a different house – which was MUCH larger inside than it was outside, due to having much underground – and had several people over – including ladies I know from online (LeeAnne, BrandyR, Tina, and Lynn) and their children. They were so much fun to be with!! and I hated […]

Yankee or Southern?

Are you a Yankee or a Southerner? I came up 48% (Yankee – barely in the Yankee category) I took it TWICE and got the same thing both times, with different answers. So I guess that’s as accurate as it gets.

Almost forgot to mention

My five-year-old decided it would be a good idea to take a piece of metal (looked like the inside of a plug, maybe, with the evenly spaced two prong end) and plug it in. Thank God he was not hurt; it just flipped the breaker.

Kitty will be ok.

He’s healing nicely. We’re relatively sure what nature of injury it is – and it isn’t a pleasant thought. It is our belief that he was abused. I think he will be staying INSIDE until we get our fence up to help prevent a recurrence.

Update on Kitty

He’s looking a little better this afternoon. He started to purr when I came in there, but stopped immediately… I think it might hurt to purr? But I looked at the wound and it seems to be starting to heal a little. He excreted a little, so that is a good sign. A vet once told us (when we took […]

Kitty’s hurt

I don’t know what happened. We couldn’t find him earlier today, and when we got home (about 10:45pm) tonight, someone found his flea collar on the porch. I decided to check out back one more time before bed to see if he was back home and ready to come in, and I heard him out there crying, so I went […]

God is so good!

Gotta tell this story bragging on God here! Yesterday, we got a note from the bank saying that a customer’s $45 check bounced. The customer, when called, said that her computer wasn’t fixed. It had been. So after getting the check stamped at the bank, we prepared a note explaining what happened and that we were going to let God […]
