This is the first year
since I was 8 that June 18th slipped by without me realizing it. June 18th, 1979, was the night (shortly before midnight, if I remember correctly) that we moved to Michigan for my dad to go to college. Always before I’ve remembered on that day, but it slipped by this year. Fascinating.
