Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I grew up with a very Irish last name, so St. Paddy’s has always been one of my more favorite days, even if we don’t *do* anything about it. My brother, as I recall, used to delight in wearing orange on St. Patrick’s Day. I’m not sure if he still does that or not.

Invisible

I’m feeling particularly invisible, lately. If you saw my post a few days ago (though, at this point, I’m doubting anyone even reads HERE), you’ll have seen that it saddens me that nobody from my past has ever – apparently – wanted to contact me… and I feel like if I don’t go to the message boards that I generally […]

1. A new stove/oven with knobs at the top instead of the front, and more room between burners and/or more burners (may not be able to afford both, so would likely get the knob thing instead of the more burners) 2. A Canon PowerShot S3 IS 3. New (lower, not upper) kitchen cabinets with more drawers 4. A Wii There […]

Friends from the past

I find it a bit sad. I have made myself easily findable (on purpose) because we moved a lot when I was growing up and came in contact with a lot of people… and yet the only ones I’ve gotten BACK in contact with are ones that I managed to find doing my own searches. It makes me wonder. Was […]

Talk about weird dreams!

I dreamed that I & my dh and another couple were in this underground hideout place, and for some reason we had a wedding ceremony in which I was the bride and the other dh was the groom… after, I asked the preacher, “That wasn’t *real*, right? Because I’m still married to my dh and there hasn’t been any divorce, […]

I did find another timesucker the other day, that I really enjoy. We have a GameCube, and my eldest son […]

Kidney stones.

I seem to have started developing them. Thankfully, mine seem to be the kind that dissolve in acidic urine. My first experience was Dec. 11, and a day or two of taking vitamin C cleared them up. Late last night, I once again felt the telltale pain, and immediately got up and took 2000mg vitamin C and it eased up […]
