Today I’m thankful for…

…holidays that draw family together.
…frozen bananas that will become banana bread.
…fresh pumpkin that will become pumpkin snickerdoodles.
…a 15 year old son who will (usually) do what is asked of him.

Dinner on the Grounds

That is one of the things that happened often in churches of yesteryear, and not so much nowadays, but our church has dinner on the grounds three or four times a year. Today was one of those occasions. Everyone pitches in to bring a little something, and we end up with an amazing feast! We are blessed to have many excellent cooks in our congregation, and I always end up eating too much. Nevertheless, it is a good time of food and fellowship.

It is also a good reminder that Jesus told the disciples, “Come and Dine” and that we have access to the Bread of Life at any time of the day or night.

God bless you!

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to take a moment to let you know that we visit Taco Bell restaurants all over the southeast, and of all the Taco Bell restaurants we have visited in the region, your store is the absolute best. We have not yet found one that measures up to your quality in service, food preparation, or cleanliness. We rarely receive our order incorrectly at your store, and those rare times, you cheerfully make it right. You carry an excellent selection, and have cheerfully made substitutions for us when requested.

Thank you so much for running a high quality fast food restaurant. I wish other Taco Bell locations would learn from you.

Sincerely,

Dawn Harvey (and family)
