Talk about weird dreams!

I dreamed that I & my dh and another couple were in this underground hideout place, and for some reason we had a wedding ceremony in which I was the bride and the other dh was the groom… after, I asked the preacher, “That wasn’t *real*, right? Because I’m still married to my dh and there hasn’t been any divorce, so this one was invalid?” He nodded.

Just weird.

Happy Birthday, Cheryl…

…wherever you are. I hope one day I find her again. I remember her every year… but she’s probably forgotten me by now.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

… and happy birthday to my friend KIM (who reads this blog!) and happy birthday to my friend Michelle’s oldest daughter.

Life Soundtrack

Got this from a friend’s blog:

If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be?

Here’s how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, iPod).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that’s playing.
5. New question– press the next button.
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool.

Opening credits:
Cathedral Quartet – Suppertime [uh, ok… that doesn’t work LOL]

Waking up:
I Will Call Upon the Lord [wow… excellent]

First day at school:
Steve Coulter & Harris Moore – Ealeanor Plunkett/Day of Grace [that works!]

Falling in love:
GLAD – O Come, O Come, Emmanuel [???]

Breaking up:
Sandi Patty – If I Want To [yeah, ok]

Prom:
Jesus Loves Even Me [LOL guess that fits, too, since I never went to Prom – nor was ever ASKED to!]

Life’s okay:
Michael Card – The Edge [um… ok…This would’ve fit better on the next one LOL]

Mental breakdown:
GLAD – One Quiet Moment [ROFL]

Driving:
Handel’s Thus Saith the Lord [snort!]

Flashback:
Imperials – I’d Rather Believe in You

Getting back together:
Handel’s For Unto Us a Child is Born [eeek!]

Wedding:
Jay Curtman – When I Stand with God [s’pose that fits]

Birth of child:
Veggie Tales – Forever [VT! LOL!]

Final battle:
Michael Card – The Greening of Belfast [raises eyebrow]

Death scene:
Joe Scruggs – Put Your Thumb in the Air [well!]

Funeral song:
Michael Card & John Michael Talbot – The Final Word [rather appropriate there!]

End credits:
Barry Louis Polisar – A Brontosaurus with Bronchitis [shakes head]

Found another fun game

If you, like me, like word games (board-style, not computer-based), you should check out Pick Two! My friend brought it over a few weeks ago and we enjoyed it so I had to get my own copy.

Happy Groundhog Day!

Happy Groundhog Day

Good day to watch that perennial favorite movie “Groundhog Day” … I will have to see if I can find it 🙂

I predict spring starts on March 21…

LOL
