Amazing, really…
I got up around 7:30 this morning. Theoretically, we were supposed to be leaving around 8 to go with Robby out of town. However, it is now 9:46 and I haven’t heard anything from him. But that’s beside the point.
Since I was up anyway, and hungry, I went in and actually COOKED breakfast – eggs & toast – and made each of the kids a tray including those and peaches (we have cafeteria-style compartment trays that I got cheap at an after-season sale at Wal*Mart).
It felt good to do something “right” for a change!

This is a feeling I’d very much like to feel again – and soon.
I love the idea of a compartment tray – how convenient would that be many the times with my family.
