“Just hand it to me.”

That’s what I said to my 2 year old daughter, when she couldn’t seem to get her shoes and socks all to me at once. She was just barely out of my reach, meaning that all she had to do was hold the shoes or socks toward me and I could take them from her, lightening her load and allowing her to reach me with the remainder more easily.

How often do we feel that we MUST do it ourselves, while God is just out of our reach, holding out His hand to us and kindly asking us to “Just give it to Me.”?
