The Lord has blessed me with many friends. Most of them are distant in geography, though close in heart.
Most of my friends who live within an hour's drive also do not have a presence on the web (yet). These include Filip & Kim (and their six children), Freda & Zannie, Mavis & Garry, Sissy and her children, Sharon, Ken & Bonnie and their family, Bud & Pat, Richard & Geneva, Ray & Peggy, Harry & Emilie, Barbara, Thelma, Chuck & Sandy, Jimmy & Dottie (many of these also attend our church).
Our dear friends Tom & Naomi and their children are also within an hour's drive, and they do have a couple sites. Tom makes beautiful handmade Native American style flutes and Naomi has a weblog. We are usually blessed to spend time with them at least weekly.
Another of my friends enjoys calling herself "peculiar" (as in Titus 2:14 KJV: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.) and also has a blog.
I'm probably missing someone here. It's hard to list everyone with whom God has blessed my life!
God has blessed me with many distant friends: those I have met online; those I have known in places I used to live; those I have met through friends. I have learned that just because you cannot see (nor have ever seen) someone, it does not mean they are not real!
I think I cannot possibly list every friend I have. I would love to, but I am certain I would end up missing a name and that person would feel slighted, and I do not wish to cause my friends pain. Suffice it to say that most of them (if not all of them) know who they are, and I am very thankful for them all!
That said, I DO have a few links to share to some of my online friends who have sites.
There are more on the sidebar of my blog, so there's no need to repeat them here.
