Number

Generally, 3, though sometimes I choose 7. If not one of those two, then an "even" number like 5 or 10 (yes, I know 5 is an odd number, but it is "even" in terms of halves and wholes in most of our items, such as money, measurements, etc.).

Color

Blue, but green is SUCH a close second that I should probably just say "blue and green" instead of choosing one or the other. That is in general. For clothes, I like red, denim, and plaid. For walls, I generally prefer white.

Animal

Cat. I've been a cat person most of my life.

State

That's a difficult one to answer. I've lived in six different ones, and have dear friends in many others. i grew up in New York; lived several years in Michigan; moved with my parents to South Carolina; college & early marriage in Oklahoma, followed by Arkansas; and now Alabama. Some of my friends are in Texas, Oregon, Nevada, North Dakota, Tennessee... I'm not sure there's a state out there in which I know *no one* come to think of it. But if I *had* to pick one... hmmm. I think I would have to go for Texas.

Penguins

Sometime in my teen years, my mom got me something penguin, and I thought it was SO cute, and said so. That was the beginning of my penguin collection, and my interest in penguins. I haven't studied them extensively, but I have learned bits and pieces here and there, and I still consider them one of the cutest things I've ever seen!

I love to read. I've been reading since I was 2.5 years old. Along with my love of reading has come a desire and love of writing, as well. I have several samples of my writing on a separate page, if you're interested at all in reading any of it; and of course this site and my blog are written by me.
