Chicken/Fish | ~April I've used lemon pepper before, garlic and butter before, and also just a mixed Mrs. Dash type seasoning -- always baked. ************** ~Michelle IN I usually grill them with a butter and seasoning sauce ************* ~ Last time I made them I did a semi sweet marinade using soy, maple syrup, dijon mustard (a little bit) and some seasonings. ******************* ~Jodie I saw a neat looking recipe for sea bass on all recipes that many people said they used tilapia instead. http://seafood.allrecipes.com/az/SBssCbnStyl.asp
read the reviews.. a lot of them left out one or more ingredients from
preference etc. But it looked neat. *************** ~April * 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil * 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced white onions * 2 tablespoons minced garlic * 4 cups seeded, chopped plum tomatoes * 1 1/2 cups dry white wine * 2/3 cup sliced stuffed green olives * 1/4 cup drained capers * 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes * 4 (6 ounce) fillets sea bass * 2 tablespoons butter * 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro :lol
We'll I'd be leaving out the white wine, capers, olives, using canned
tomatos instead of fresh, and dried cilantro instead of fresh, and
black pepper instead of red. :lol That does sound good, although I bet
my DC would still not like it. :lol *************
~Jodie some of the reviews I think said they used some juice instead of the wine? ************** ~Renae I
crush up a sleeve of ritz-type snack crackers. Mix it with a little
garlic powder, Italian seasonings, and parmesan if I have it. Then I
melt butter, dip chicken or fish in butter, then smash it into the
crumbs. Put it on a baking sheet. When they are all coated, I take any remaining butter and drizzle it on then sprinkle any remaining crumbs over the whole deal. Bake it until done (fish cooks QUICK!) It's really good. The kids love it. I rarely fry things anymore with this recipe. *******************
