Breakfast
| ~~Christyann I don't like the wasted time of standing over the stove to make pancakes. This has been the perfect solution...I got it from the old board I think. make a two cup batch of batter and pour it into a 9 inch round cake pan. I spray it with no stick spray first. put it in a 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes ( until golden on top and toothpick comes out clean ) I usually nurse the baby or get dressed while it cooks. Smear it with butter and maple syrup. Also tasty with thawed frozen strawberries on top. ******************************** ~~Dawn Penguin AL My husband came up with an AWESOME breakfast I gotta share with you all! sausage eggs jiffy cornbread mix
Get a casserole dish. In the bottom, put a layer of sausage. (He used
turkey sausage). Next, mix up together (breaking yolks) as many eggs as
you want for your family (I used 8) and pour them over the sausage.
Then mix up a box of Jiffy cornbread (or whatever cornbread you like)
and splot it on the top, it will spread out to cover the whole thing as
it cooks. Cook at about 400 degrees F for about 20 minutes. Yummy!!
(Mine this morning served 6) - oh, and we put syrup on top ************************** ~~Donna WA Here are some of our favorites. swiss museli-bought at Top foods or health food store, pour milk on, let sit for 10 min, good with brown sugar I make eggs and sasaue burritos with sour cream and salsa or chilpe tabasco. you can freeze these but defrost and heat in microwave on paper towel. granola on top of yogurt frozen

dc LOVE to eat homemade bread for breakfast almost every morning... , I
end up making whole wheat pancakes, eggs or homemade granola for the
others. I make a loaf the night before in the bread machine, or (if I
get up) early that morning. We use whole wheat or "white wheat" (Wheat
Montana). For toppings we use raw honey or all-fruit plus Better Butter
(1lb butter, and 2 cups cold pressed Safflower oil whipped together...
add a few tbs of honey to make it extra yummy!). All I usually do in the morning is pull out the butter and slice the bread :) . ************************* ~~Shari CA I
was thinking of muffins w/fruit, or scrambled eggs and toast. Maybe
sausage biscuits (using canned biscuits makes it quicker).
