Crackers: Dinner Crackers - Caroline

5 Cup flour
2 Cup milk
1 -1/4 Cup soft butter-not melted
1 - 1/2 Tsp salt

Mix together flour, salt, and butter until it resembles course meal.

Stir in milk

Optional herbs added to dough for more flavor (if you were eating minestrone soup, then maybe italian herbs or at least basil or pasley; dill or parsley might be good with potato soup. )

(I use hard red wheat, white wheat, spelt or pastry- pastry and soft winter white wheat works the best for a soft and easy dough)

Roll out very thin on a well-greased cookie sheet.

Cut into squares with pizza cutter.

Sprinkle with salt.

Bake

Cool completelyserve or store some if you can 

Makes about 5 cookie sheets of crackers!
