DH's favorite way is to put minute rice (or regular rice if you know how to change the recipe) and cream of mushroom soup (2 cans) in a 9x13. Season with salt, pepper, anything else you like. (Sometimes we put a layer of cheese on top of the rice. Top with porkchops sprinkled with pepper. Bake in a 350* oven for I forgot how long.

You are going to laugh, I know, BUT
Put them in a 9x13 baking pan and cover with with water then coat liberally with salt (this is the only time I am liberal :LOL ) add a dash of pepper to each chop and bake a L O N G time. By supper they are falling off the bone, so tender and OHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh so good!
Sounds to easy to be good, but they are the best.
Or
In pan with mushroom soup and French's onions...bake till tender

we have a george foreman grill that I have found I cannot live without... but last time I did it, I cut them up, sauteed with with onions, garlic, bell pepper, broccoli, carrots and whatever else I had. made a sweet and sour sauce and served it over rice.
the fruit that goes well with pork is either apple, pineapple or both.
another good way to do pork chops or pork steak (Todds favorite) is to put it in a crock pot with potatoes, onions, water and cook until everythig is very very soft...then add saurkraut

I cut them into bite sized pieces and brown them then add the cream of mushroom soup, some water and let simmer a while. Then I thicken like gravy and serve over mashed potatos
OR

fry them in a pan with butter, or butter and onions, or butter , onions, and apples (or at least serve them with fried apples or applesauce :lol)

cook them in the oven with a cream soup poured over

BBQ them in the oven

Coat them with beaten egg and then dip them in seasoned breadcrumbs and oven fry or pan fry.

One of those ways is normally how we have pork chops

If I am lazy, I shake 'n' bake them. I will also coat them in seasoned flour and fry them in a pan

I pan fry them on higher heat to brown.. and then tuck into the oven at 350* until they're done.. maybe 30 min more or so. then make a gravy with the pan drippings.. and serve with mashed potatoes a veggie and applesauce

I also like breading and baking them... but broiling or grilling them is nice... especially with a gravy and stuffing :) The trick to not killing them is to get them cooked but not to overcook them.. and I can't say for sure how I do that.

dip them in beaten egg, cover both sides with seasoned bread crumbs, and bake on a rack over a sheet-cake pan filled with water....they stay moist and delicious....
Another way is to bake them topped with stuffing.....yummy! We haven't had pork chops in a long time, and this thread is making me hungry!!
Oh, they are also good in the crockpot with saurkraut!! MMMmmmmm!!

Breaded and baked in the oven. Nice and tender that way. We have them maybe once a year and I will usually buy 'shake'n bake'. But I've made my own before as well. Serve with stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans.
or
I season mine with garlic & onion powder and bake them. I put BBQ sauce on the the last half of baking
My sil used to brown them, then add water and cook on top of stove for a long time and they would be very tender.
My mom fried them with spinach.....the only way I would ever eat spinach.

here are a few of my fav ways to serve chops.
marinate w/Italian dressing, season(I have a pork chop rub, but Ihave also used season salt) then bake in a 9x13 baking dish at 350 for about 30-45 min(depending on how thick the chops are). YUM! That is how we had them the other night.

Put in the crock pot w/2 cans of cream of mushroom soup(or 1 can ifyou prefer) and 3/4 can of milk PER can of soup. Cook until tender and serve over rice.

Cut chops off the bone and cube. Put in crockpot w/black beans, white beans, navy beans, diced tomatoes and a bit of tomato paste (or use tomato puree) and cook like Chili.

I like them fried in butter...or coated with flour and seasonings and fried in hot oil.

I slightly brown them then put them in the crock pot with \\line either golden mushroom soup & 1 small can of mushrooms or if I don't have the golden mushroom soup I use regular \\line mushroom soup~~either way it is very good and then you have some gravy for rice, noodles, or potatoes.
I also shake & bake them in the oven--they are very good this way to, and, I get my shake and bake at the bulk food store~~it less expensive there!

I put them in a pan, cut an onion in rings and lay over the chops, sprinkle them with brown sugar and then cover with BBQ sauce (all measurements are whatever you think looks good :) ). Cover with foil and bake at 300 for 3 hours. Very tender and tasty!

I like to pan fry them in butter/olive oil with onions and mushrooms. When it's nearly done, I deglaze the pan, then melt some cream cheese in there, add some cream to make it saucy and simmer it all together with the chops.\\par\par

Yes, it's VERY rich. If we weren't eating a LC diet, I'd probably use water and flour to thicken up a gravy, but this sauce is excellent!
OR
I make mine sort of like Kristie's crock pot version, only in a skillet. And I normally don't keep the cream soups on hand anymore. Here's what I do:

Saute some onion slices (and garlic if you like it) in olive oil. Throw your pork chops on top and saute until browned on both sides. Remove chops and keep warm. In same skillet, scrape up browned bits, add butter if there isn't much fat left, and add flour and your fave seasonings to make a paste for gravy. Slowly wisk in water to make the gravy. Once gravy is made, put chops back in. You can either continue to cook on the stovetop on low, or put in a low oven to bake, turning occasionally.

We like this with rice

Add a can of cream of mushroom soup, cook at 350 for an hour or an hour and a half...gourmet, Conner-style. ;)
