Beef & Pork
| ~~- Dawn Huff do
mine a bit like Leslie, but I let it cook overnight. I start it on low
before bed and then in the morning I get up and turn it on high. I
don't add sauce to mine until it's shredded (if will fall apart after
cooking so long) and everyone adds their own....and slaw. :) I only season mine with a little salt. BBQ is something you don't want to hurry....you could cut it up, but I never have. ******************** ~~Leslie Put
the pork roast on high in the crockpot with seasonings. Cook 5-6 hours
(might can get away with 4 if necessary). Lift the meat out of the
crockpot, cook slightly so you can work with it. Then shred. Simply use
two forks to do this. Put BBQ sauce on the table and let everyone fix
their own sandwich. - Yes cook in water. Salt, pepper, a tad of
garlic powder or garlic salt if you have it. Cut it into pieces and
cook for about 4 hours....then cool. You can cook it in the sauce if
you want or you can add the sauce (purchased if you want to make it
easier on yourself) after you have shredded it. ******************** ~~ Rosanne lean pork roast, cubed 2 lb Tomato sauce- 7.5 oz Ketchup 1/2 cup chopped onion - 1 cup White vinegar 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup mustard - 1 tsp worcestershire sauce 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp molasses (not blackstrap) 2 tbsp water 2/3 cup cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours ******************** ~~Vicki pork
