Appetizers

This is probably a southern thing but I like jalepenos like you put on nachos chopped small and stirred into softened cream cheese. Spread in on a flour tortilla and roll it up then cut into slices like little pinwheels. Actually you can do this with anything...cheese and roast beef, pimento cheese, etc.

Or seven layer dip (refried beans and cheese and sour cream and olives and chopped tomatoes and green onions and maybe guacamole layered with tortilla chips alongside.

A friend puts velveeta and a can of chilli in a crock pot and serves with chips.

Basically, for me spicy is what will do it, LOL!

Ham (or inexpensive lunch meat) spread with cream cheese, then put a quarter pickle (pickle spear - gotta be dill) in and roll it around it. Put toothpicks in across (five or six probably) and slice between the toothpicks. DEEEE-licious

at our victorian tea at church each year there is way too many sweets(imagine that ) so I make the tiny meatballs and then nuke them in cream of chicken with some nutmeg.
I got it out of a fancy mag years ago. nuking them makes the cream of chicken soak inot the meatballs.it doesnt sound too appetizing but it is sooo yummy. :0)

what about fresh apple slices & pear slices and for a dip you mix sour cream and brown sugar.

Or celery stuffed with cream cheese and some stuffed with peanutbutter.
