I always intend to blog more than I do. I don’t know why I don’t. It’s just something to make time for. I sometimes make up blog entries in my head, but they rarely make it to the blog. Bummer.
I did find another timesucker the other day, that I really enjoy. We have a GameCube, and my eldest son rented two games from Movie Gallery, one of which was Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I very much enjoy that game! I bought a copy on eBay and now I’m just waiting for it to arrive. It’s probably good that I have to wait, as I spent MUCH too much time playing the few days we had it as a rental. In fact, so much time, that my children were HIGHLY amused when I maneuvered my Mario character into one house on the game and when he talked to the child in the house, the child stated, “My mom just plays games all day long! She doesn’t have a job. She doesn’t clean. It’s terrible!”

Um… Ok? That title does NOT go with that photo AT ALL! LOL!
I seem to have started developing them. Thankfully, mine seem to be the kind that dissolve in acidic urine. My first experience was Dec. 11, and a day or two of taking vitamin C cleared them up. Late last night, I once again felt the telltale pain, and immediately got up and took 2000mg vitamin C and it eased up enough that I could sleep! And 2000mg more this morning and I’m just mildly uncomfortable – no real *pain*. I am thankful that they seem to be easily resolved! My father had surgery for kidney stones when I was young, and that is not an experience through which I care to go!
I had a dream that I was living in some sort of dorm or apartment, which included a mailbox/locker with a combination lock, and I couldn’t remember the combination, and I couldn’t get the ‘powers that be’ to tell me what it was.
This is the fourth or fifth time I’ve had a similar situation in a dream.
In this dream, someone was giving me a phone number (area code 571 is all I can remember of it) to call to try to find out what the combination was from the previous owner.
Weird.
The reason the results are as they are is mainly because I think the government needs to do what GOVERNMENT was meant to do and GOVERN… and quit trying to legislate morality and needs to quit getting into peoples’ private lives.
I got tired of my old wallpaper and couldn’t find something I wanted up, so I made one.

This is well worth watching. If you are grateful, here’s an easy way to say “thank you” – even from a distance.
2008 has arrived! Hard to believe… the years are going so fast. It seems like just yesterday was Y2K and now it’s been 8 years!
Our family has seen a lot of changes in those 8 years – We now have two teenagers and two more children (for a total of five) plus one in Heaven. We were blessed with a house in 2004 on the same street as my inlaws (which we LOVE!). And we have now been in business for ourselves for 7.5 years.
We have been very blessed!
