Name

I'm known as dpenguin or d_penguin or, occasionally, dpenguin71 in many places. My real name is Dawn.

Basic Description

I'm about 5'5", 38, long brown hair, blue eyes behind my glasses, and about 90# overweight.
I have been happily married to Robert for over 16 years now. We have six children (plus one in Heaven) ages 16 and under and would love to have more, if God chooses to bless us.

Location

I live in the USA. I am a Northerner who has been transplanted into the South, and I love it down here! The only things I miss about the north is that there is snow in the winter, and the winters are cold enough to kill most bugs. One of these days I need to get a license plate for the front of my car that says,

"American by birth - Southern by the grace of God!"

Occupation

Mostly, I'm a wife and mom. I homeschool our five children. We have been using an eclectic mixture, but beginning Spring 2007, we have been using Switched-On Schoolhouse.

I also do web design for our company (we are self-employed).
