9 months

It’s a short time, and a long time.

9 months ago yesterday, I gave birth to a perfectly formed, stillborn little boy, who died at 14 weeks gestation. It seems like ages ago, and just yesterday.

It usually takes 9 months from conception to birth a baby. 9 months of anticipation can seem forever. 9 months of hoping and disappointment can also seem forever.

But in God’s grand scheme of things, 9 months is a blink. A moment.

I’m not sure what my point is… it was just rolling around in my brain so I thought I’d give it outlet. Thanks for reading.
