Chocolate pudding
So we were at the grocery & Robby decided he wanted chocolate pudding. They didn’t have “chocolate.” We were given a choice between “Chocolate Fudge” or “Devil’s Food.” Well, ok, then! So, since it was Robby who’d wanted it, I asked him. He deferred to me. I picked up one box of each, turning them over to compare ingredients.
They were exactly the same. Exactly.

oh but they might have different proportions of those things. A little more of this, a little less of that, still in the same relative order … I don’t know. 🙂

Companies try to market things on what they think the consumer will go for…so, maybe just maybe…
Devil’s Food appeals more to the atheist and Chocolate Fudge to the rest of us. LOL!
But seriously, older ladies seem to be more in tune with the term Devil’s Food. It probably has a more positive connotation (sp?) for them, while for younger people who weren’t raised with the term Devil’s Food would pick up the other easier.
Gotta tell ya’, anything chocolate works for me!
